High energy, I’m dad
My stand-up comedy is a high-energy ride filled with dad jokes—think wordplay, not actual jokes about dads.
The vibe bounces from silly to intelligent, and I promise, you'll leave feeling like you just had a quad-shot americano!
My comedy is auto-biographical, observational, and progressive. Along with my whimsical observations of the world (such as my internal weed-whacking dialogue), I discuss my experience growing up as a sheltered small-town girl in the Pacific-Northwest only to rediscover myself as a progressive feminist adult, covering topics like: family, anxiety, insecurity, marijuana, therapy, LGBTQIA, and religion. But don’t worry, while the topics seem serious, the jokes are very, very silly.
I LOVE hosting and am highly requested as a host and emcee at clubs all over Seattle. I’ve even been invited to host industry adjacent events such as Extreme Dogs at the Washington State Fair, The National MS Society’s Bike MS, and corporate luncheons.
While I was finding my groove in stand-up, I studied theatre and psychology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington—a mid-sized town that's a hotbed for creativity. (Read my comedy origin story, featured in My Bellingham Now).
And before that I could be found hosting my high school’s assemblies because we did not have a theatre department. Gotta love poor small towns!
